General Details
Delightful, secluded and peaceful 17th century converted self catering barn in the heart of Old Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Hidden away to the rear of the High Street and yet within 100 metres of the centre of the Old Town with it's hotels, pubs and restaurants. It has it's own private parking for two cars.
One of the most beautiful towns in the South of England, located in the rolling Chiltern Hills, designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We are John and Gill Harrison. We have travelled extensively and know exactly what we would hope to find. Spotless, comfortable warm accommodation with all those little things that we often forget! Our own house is adjacent so we are on hand and available to assist or answer questions about all the local facilities of Old Amersham.
The adjacent Barn Annex may be added to The Barn providing an extra double bedroom and additional bathroom with a shower, thus providing four double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Access between the annex and the Barn is across the paved parking area and only about 15 metres away.
The bathroom in the Barn and The Old Barn Suite have showers only.
The Barn has all normal amenities including fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, clothes brushes etc. Everything we could think of for a comfortable, self catering cottage stay.
The beds are made up and towels are provided. All consumables are initially provided including loo rolls, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, bin liners and kitchen essentials such as tea, coffee etc.
The Barn is on one level and is suitable for wheelchair and disabled use. The highest step is about six inches.
The Barn Prices
Our prices are £295 per night in high season. We have a seven night minimum letting policy, and generally during peak season of May to September, the minimum let is two weeks, normally Saturday to Saturday.
