Delightful secluded and peaceful 17th century converted self catering barn in the heart of Old Amersham Buckinghamshire - hidden away to the rear of the High Street and yet within 100 metres of the centre of the Old Town with its hotels, pubs and restaurants. It has its own private parking.
One of the most beautiful towns in the South of England located in the rolling Chiltern Hills designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We are John and Gill Harrison. We have travelled extensively and know exactly what we would hope to find: spotless comfortable warm accommodation with all those little things that we often forget! Our own house is adjacent so we are on hand and available to assist or answer questions about all the local facilities of Old Amersham

Two bedrooms, one double with King size bed, one twin with two single beds. We have a sofa bed that we add into the sitting room. A single put me up bed is available if needed.
Note this is a two bedroom cottage so using all the beds would be a bit of a squeeze. It's ideal for families or close relatives.
The adjacent Old Barn Annex may be added to the Barn providing an extra double bedroom and additional bathroom with a shower thus providing three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Access between the suite and the Barn is across the paved parking area and only about 15 metres away.
The Old Barn Annex: is a small self contained unit on one level available adjacent to the Barn so same secluded private location. Consists of double bedroom and private bathroom with own exclusive entrance and privacy. Small hallway and outside seating and private parking space adjoining. Fridge, tea and coffee facilities - New 24" Samsung smart TV with full Independant Sky TV services including sport, catch up and superfast wi fi broadband. Ideal for a short stay. The bathroom in the Barn and The Old Barn Suite have a showers only.
In the Barn, there is a double sofa bed in the sitting room and a single put me up bed is available if needed. Note this is a two bedroom cottage so using all the beds would be a bit of a squeeze. It's ideal for families or close relatives.
The Barn has all normal amenities including in the kitchen, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, clothes brushes etc. Everything we could think of for a comfortable self catering cottage stay.
The beds are all made up and towels are provided. All consumables are initially provided including loo rolls, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, bin liners and kitchen essentials such as tea, coffee, oils etc.
The Barn is on one level and is suitable for wheelchair and or disabled use. The highest step is about six inches.
Just a stones throw from to all the local Amersham hotels, pubs and restaurants and a one minute walk to the Saracens Head pub, the highly regarded Spice Society Indian restaurant, the Artichoke and Gilbey's Amersham restaurants.
Our prices are £195 per night. We have a three night minimum letting policy and generally during peak season of April to September, the minimum let is one week, normally Saturday to Saturday

Bookings within two months of arrival are payable in full. For over two months away a 25% deposit is payable on booking - balances are payable 2 months prior to arrival. Deposits are non refundable. The remaining 75 % or 75% of the full amount paid will be refunded only if the cottage is re let for the same or more over the relevant period. If it is re let for less than that will be the amount refunded.
